The holidays can be a challenging time when it comes to eating right and watching our calorie intake. Holiday cocktails can especially be temping but the extra calories can rack up quickly. So instead, mix in these tasty mocktails to help cut unwanted calories and stay on track.
Cranberry-Ginger Spritzer: This festive mocktail is quite refreshing and simple to make, so give it a go!
Ingredients:
Cranberry seltzer water
1/4 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger
Small handful of cranberries
Ice
Directions:
In a cocktail glass, place a few cranberries at the bottom of the glass. Next, place ice and seltzer water in glass. Mix in fresh ginger and garnish with cranberries.
Vanilla Peppermint Toddy: This minty drink will warm the throat and the heart.
Ingredients:
Vanilla herbal tea
1 candy cane stick
Hot water
Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a kettle and place in a tall tea cup. Place tea bag and sweep for 5 minutes. Then add candy cane and serve warm.

Half glass of plain seltzer water
Half glass of apple cider
Cinnamon stick
Directions:
In a glass mix half seltzer water and half apple cider. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve over ice if desired.
