New Year, New Exercise Plan!
The New Year is here! And it's time to start that exercise resolution plan! You can do it! And to help you get started, try this great 20 minute work out!
!. Push ups: Place hands directly under your shoulders. To protect your shoulders, only bend elbows to level of chest. Repeat 20 reps
2. Squats: Place your feet hip width apart. As you bend your knees, keep the pressure on your heels and bend only to a 90 degree angle. Repeat 20 reps.
3. Bicep Curls: Grab some free weights and hold them in your hands with elbows at your sides, and palms facing outward. Slowly bend your elbow and control the weight as you lift it, making sure not to let your shoulders fall forward. Repeat 20 reps on each side.
4. Lunges: Stand with one foot forward and the other back, toes straight ahead. Bend your knees and go towards the floor keeping the pressure in the front heel. Maintain your balance and keep your knee stable. Repeat 20 reps.
Once you have completed all four exercises cycle back through then 4-5 times until you reach 20 minutes. This will help get your heart rate up, burn more calories and work the muscles efficiently.
